I am certain that every long distance couples would have made some hopes and commitments to each other throughout their long distance relationship and long distance engagement.
I know that my husband and I always hoped that we would be able to see each other again after period of time from long distance, and we always had hope that we would be able to remain strong throughout our long distance relationship and our long distance engagement.
Some long distance couples may commit to each other of flying to each other every three to six months - taking in turns who gets to fly and see their partner, may commit having conversations with one another so often, may commit sending each other letters and care packages via mail, etc.

Commitments
What is your definition and understanding of "Commitments"? What would be some commitments in a long distance couple would face during their long distance relationship and long distance engagement? Some long distance couples may commit to each other of flying to each other every three to six months - taking in turns who gets to fly and see their partner, may commit having conversations with one another so often, may commit sending each other letters and care packages via mail, etc.
While my husband and I was in our long distance relationship and our long distance engagement, we had several successful commitments. You may ask what was some of the several successful commitments did you and your husband was able to achieve.
Well, my husband and I found success in being committed to each other with being honest to one another, being committed to no dating with no one else - even at times when other people may look at us as "single" individuals during our long distance relationship, being committed with making some spare time to be able to talk to each other often which ended up being every morning and every night, being committed to saving as much as we can, and so forth.
My husband would refuse to talk to any single female YSAs while him and I was dating long distance. He was more focused on dating with me and prior to us getting married. That's a true strong commitment that he had. My husband trusted and knew that I was talking to a few guy friends, and he was okay with it as long as I didn't ended our long distance relationship and our long distance engagement and also it doesn't interfere our long distance relationship and our long distance engagement.
